Why ripple? How it works ripple home

About us

ripple is a collaboration between 4 friends, Jehan Ratnatunga, Simon Griffiths, Matt Tilleard and Mack Nevill. Our vision is to use the power of the internet to spark real and positive change.

Matt Tilleard

Matt is an Associate at The Boston Consulting Group in Melbourne. He likes reading back copies of the Economist. He has a crush on Kofi Annan and an affinity for Danger Mouse.

Mack Nevill

Mack is the founder of Evolution 7, a Melbourne-based digital agency. He loves travel, believes in the Flying Spaghetti Monster, and has a reputation for being fearless but in reality spiders totally creep him out.

Simon Griffiths

Simon is a student at the University of Melbourne. When he was young, Griffo was famous for his ability to eat pikelets. Not much has changed in the intervening years.

Jehan Ratnatunga

Jehan is an Associate at The Boston Consulting Group in Melbourne. Although trained as a ninja, Jehan has never harmed a living being.

Evolution 7

We are ably assisted by the mighty folk down at Evolution 7 who have made a pro bono contribution to our web & identity development. We think they're ace.

Support Crew

A lot of other important people have helped in the creation of this website. They've offered advice, endured our limited market research and been generally all round good types. Perhaps most importantly many of them believed in the idea when we weren't even sure we did. In particular we'd like to acknowledge our underground team of hip cats who've done a lot of hard work over the last couple of months on our publicity team...namely Jeremy Nicholls, Caroline Stawell, Mark Cicchiello, Alex Oppes, Nick Crothers, Tom McCarthy, Simon Tilleard, Rob Tilleard, Roya Azadi, Lucy Verco, Alice Ashbolt, Josh Bairstow, Jim Minifie, Rachel Elliot Jones, Stella Moretti, Ed Griffiths, Camilla Clemente, Briyah Denham, James O'day, James Lee, Andrew Fisher, Naomi Velaphi, Elyane Palmer, Georgia Dunphy and Hafeez Bana. We'd like to send a big ripple shout out to these people and all the others who've helped out on the way.

Mallesons Stephen Jaques

Mallesons has helped us out with the legal side of things. They have provided us with heaps of great, pro bono advice on how to get set up. We want to be sure that we are doing things right!

Media Temple

Ripple hosting is provided by Media Temple. MT have kickass servers and the fat pipes to handles masses of traffic and help us out with great personalised service and support. They rock.

Wishlist

Finally we'd like to thank Wishlist.com.au for coming on board as our first advertiser. As a brand new site we needed someone to take a leap of faith and advertise with us and we really appreciate Wishlist's help.
